Ashley Meece

I am a product of CMCSS and I graduated from Austin Peay State University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I have a ten-year-old son, Jackson. He joins me at Oakland in fifth grade. On a normal weekend you can find me scrapbooking, at the baseball fields, or spending time with my family! The bar is set high in our classroom, meaning I have high expectations for all of my students.
Michelle Cook

My name is Michelle Cook. My husband and I are originally from Southern Illinois, but moved to Clarksville in 2013. This is my fourth year of teaching. I am so excited to be working with the kids at Oakland! Hoot! Hoot! It is my belief that ALL children can succeed if they are guided and given the love they need. Every day I tell my students to be problem solvers and never let anyone fall behind. It is going to be a great learning experience for all!

I was born and raised just up the road in Todd county. I did move away for a time to the mountains of Virginia and then later to southern Georgia. I graduated from Valdosta State University and returned back home to be near my family. I have taught second and third grades. I love working with children and get great joy from watching them succeed. I am looking forward to a great school year.

I am so excited to be at Oakland. This is my first year to teacher 4th grade. I have taught 1st and 2nd grade in the past. When I am not teaching I am spending time with my husband and 2 children. I also enjoy reading books in the summer and riding horses.
